Dingxin Indonesia Smart Friends Forum | Discussing Business and Digital Transformation in Indonesia

— Dingxin Digital Technology expands its presence in Indonesia, connecting local partners to create a new chapter in digital manufacturing.

As Indonesia becomes a new global manufacturing hotspot, more and more Taiwanese businesses are choosing to set up factories there. In November 2025, Dingxin Digital, in partnership with Guanxi Electronics, hosted the "Dingxin Indonesia Smart Partners Summit" in Jakarta, inviting 50 Taiwanese businesses to gather and discuss operational practices and new opportunities for digital transformation in Indonesia. The event also featured speeches from Mr. Qin Jiasheng, Chairman of the Jakarta Taiwanese Business Association, and Mr. Zheng Wenzhong, Honorary President of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Federation of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam, creating a lively atmosphere.

In his address, Hsu Chih-hao, General Manager of Dingxin Digital Southeast Asia, stated, "Dingxin Digital is not just a system supplier, but also a long-term partner for multinational corporations to establish themselves locally." He emphasized that the Indonesian market has enormous potential, but it also presents diverse challenges such as local taxes, exchange rates, and labor regulations. Only by establishing a transparent and real-time operating system through digital tools can companies gain a dual advantage of efficiency and compliance in the fierce market competition. Lin Jui-tang, Chief Consultant of the Kuan-Shi Group, also shared that Kuan-Shi's 18 years of deep cultivation in Indonesia proves that "digitalization and localization" are key to the sustainable operation of the manufacturing industry.

[Guanxi Electronics] Local Experience + ERP Practice: Making Manufacturing Management More "Relevant"

Yen Tzu-Chun, Special Assistant at Kuan-Hsi Electronics, shared her practical experience in the topic of "Digital Transformation of the Indonesian Factory." She pointed out that Kuan-Hsi has been operating in Indonesia for many years, and the biggest change from early manual order processing to the full implementation of ERP lies in information transparency and process integration .

"Through the ERP system, we have integrated processes such as part numbers, BOM, procurement, and financial reporting, making cross-factory and cross-border management more evidence-based and traceable."

In practice, ERP helped Guanxi solve three major challenges:

  1. Internal efficiency improvements : Transparent work reporting and assignment processes, with immediate reporting of any issues.
  2. Financial and accounting cost integration : Automatically generates profit and loss statements and expense summaries, and supports exchange rate management.
  3. Customs and tax authorities are integrated : a self-built customs declaration information query system improves customs clearance efficiency.

Guanxi further enhanced on-site inventory visibility by using "plug-in modules" to provide notifications and alerts. She shared, "These improvements enable the Indonesian factory to quickly respond to local policies and market changes, truly implementing digital management."

[Dingxin Digital Intelligence] Cost Actuarial Science × Global Operations: Building Resilience for Cross-Border Decision-Making

Next, Lin Chien-Yi, a large-scale project manager at Dingxin Digital Intelligence, gave a presentation titled "Cost Actuarial Calculation and Digital Transformation Thinking under Globalized Operations." He started by discussing the recent global supply chain fluctuations and pointed out that companies face the dual challenges of "tariff barriers + exchange rate volatility," and must use digital methods to understand their true profitability.

He illustrated this point with examples: many companies believe they can make a profit, but in reality, they "lose more the more they sell." The key lies in inaccurate cost allocation logic and the inability to trace production costs . The Dingxin system, through "multi-currency simulation, tax rate database, and cross-departmental decision dashboards," allows companies to instantly predict changes in tax and logistics costs in various countries.

"Only by seeing the costs can we accurately predict the gross profit; the value of digitalization lies in enabling companies to react faster."

Manager Lin emphasized that Dingxin's experience in implementing digital technology in Southeast Asia is helping companies gradually build "digital resilience," comprehensively improving the responsiveness and accuracy of multinational operations from real-time data and actuarial logic to management decisions.

[PwC Indonesia] CoreTAX Launched: Indonesia's Digital Tax System Officially Begins

PwC Indonesia Certified Public Accountant Chung Chia-ying introduced the latest "CoreTAX Tax Digital System" via video conference. This is an important reform promoted by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance since 2024, which integrates e-Faktur electronic invoices, e-Bupot withholding tax forms and e-Filing declarations, moving towards comprehensive online tax management.

The PwC team points out that while CoreTAX has improved tax transparency, businesses still face challenges such as frequent API changes, numerous manual processes, and insufficient system stability. Therefore, integration with ERP systems has become a critical task for enterprises.

"Through technology adoption and process automation, companies can reduce errors, increase tax transparency, and make cross-border compliance more efficient."

Dingxin Indonesia Service Team: Accompanying Enterprises to Go Further

With the successful conclusion of the "Dingxin Indonesia Smart Partners Summit", Dingxin Digital officially announced the launch of its local service team in Indonesia. In the future, it will combine the strengths of ERP, tax compliance and cost accounting consultants to continue to help more Taiwanese businesses build digital resilience and shift from "passive response" to "proactive control".

Dingxin Digital emphasizes: "In Indonesia, it's not just about setting up factories, but also about digitizing them."
